What is Comic2ePub?

Comic2ePub is an online tool that converts comic, manga, and graphic novel PDFs into EPUB and optimized ePDF formats. It’s designed for publishers, creators, and readers who want a professional digital edition with minimal effort.

Do I need to install any software?

No. Comic2ePub runs entirely in your browser. Simply upload your PDF, adjust settings if needed, and download your finished EPUB/ePDF.

Is the service free?

Yes, you can test Comic2ePub for free. The free version includes the full feature set but places a watermark on each page. To remove the watermark, you can upgrade to the Pro plan.

How much does Pro Account cost?

Pro conversions start at €0.30 per page. If you convert more than 1,000 pages per month, contact us for a custom offer.

Do I have to pay again if I make changes and reconvert my comic?

No. You are only charged once per title. After payment, you can reconvert the same title as often as you like until you are fully satisfied with the result.

What file formats are supported?

Currently, Comic2ePub works with PDF files. The output can be fixed-layout EPUB, optimized ePDF, or both.

How long is the turnaround time for conversion?

Normally it takes between 5 and 15 minutes to convert a ePub file. You upload the PDF and insert metadata, and as soon as you click Export our converter starts working. You can expect your files to be ready after 5 to 15 minutes.

Can I use it for manga and right-to-left reading?

Yes. Comic2ePub supports right-to-left reading direction for manga and similar formats.

What about data privacy?

All processing takes place on secure German servers in Nürnberg (Hosted by netcup). Files are not shared with third parties. You can delete your files and account at any time.

Can I try before I pay?

Of course! You can try as long as you want, and generate ePubs with a watermark until you are satisfied.

Can I import metadata from other sources?

Yes. If you provide us with an Excel file based on our template, we can import the metadata for you. This is especially useful if you need to create a large number of eBooks and don’t want to enter all metadata manually.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee if I’m not satisfied?

Yes. If you’re not satisfied with the results, we offer a money-back guarantee. Just contact us within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund your payment.

Why do you use Lemon Squeezy for payments?

For legal and tax compliance reasons, all our payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy, a trusted global payment service provider. Lemon Squeezy takes care of invoicing, VAT handling, and international tax regulations on our behalf.

Why can't I use Kindle Comic Creator for all this?

Amazon's eBook creation tools Kindle Comic Creator and Kindle Kids’ Book Creator will be unavailable for download from February 6, 2025 and Amazon will not accept Mobi files for publication after March 18, 2025.

Why doesn’t Comic2ePub support Mobipocket (.mobi) anymore?

Mobipocket is an outdated format that no longer supports modern comic layouts, fixed pages, or right-to-left reading. Comic2ePub focuses on EPUB 3 — the current industry standard for high-quality comic and manga eBooks compatible with all major readers.
